Daddy/Daughter Time

We have a tradition that when our kids get tall enough to go to the Jupiter Lighthouse, Doyle takes them on a "date" to visit this historical site. It was Lydia's turn to climb the stairs and be with her daddy. He took her out of school for a couple of hours, which pleased her very much.

They had a good time together and made some special memories.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We celebrated Valentine's Day this morning by presenting gifts to each other. This is always a fun time together as a family. Doyle got me a dozen roses with some candy and a beautiful card. He really is my gift from God. I will never cease to be amazed at how blessed I am to me married to the man of my dreams. I got him some candy, card, and a balloon.

I had so much fun with the gifts this year. I wrapped them a couple of days early and it drove the kids crazy. Here is Julianna with her special gifts from the family. I got the girls two cute shirts each and the boys these toy sets(one was a helicopter and the other was a K-9 unit). I found incredible bargains on the shirts and toys. I decided to go easy on the candy since they get so much at school.

Samuel and his loot.

Lydia waiting to open her gift.

Joseph giving his cheezy grin.

The kids exchange cards. I keep their cards from year to year in a special place. I know they will value them a lot more in the future. I am looking forward to spending an enjoyable day together with my family.

Campmeeting Time!

This is the time of the year when our campus becomes very populated with people from all over the U.S. and other countries to participate in the Sea Breeze Campmeeting. I know some of you are aware that you can be a part by logging on to the website, but I thought there might be others out there who did not know that this is a great chance to be there when you can not be there.
