The Hair Salon

I thought these pictures would bring a smile to your face. We have now opened a place to have your hair done. That is, if you would like it done the way a kid does hair. I found my kids doing this. They had a towel draped around Joseph's neck. They sprayed water on his head and combed away. Since he loves to have his hair played with, he thought this was great.

Of course, Julianna and Samuel had to do Lydia's hair too. They were using a spray bottle with a fan on it and I was waiting for the fan to get caught in her hair. Samuel called me to the "shop" and said, "Look, mom, She looks like that guy on the hundred dollar bill." First of all, I was impressed that he knew what one of those things looked like. The more I looked at Lydia with her new hairstyle, I had to agree that she did favor Ben Franklin. He had taken her ponytails out and her hair was sticking out. We have been working with the kids to learn to laugh at themselves. When Samuel said this, Lydia said, "I'm not crying mom." I think she realized how funny it was. By the way, I let them do my hair sometimes but I don't think it is necessary to post those pictures.

That made me laugh very hard. I think that it is necessary for you to post the pictures of yourself. I might want to canoe over and have my hair done.
Ethan had a great time. Thanks for the crabs, they are the entertainment for the day.

Hey, the hair stylists are great! I love the pictures. They can comb my hair when you come up north.

Spoil sport - your pictures would be highly entertaining!!! Glad you and Kayla re-arranged some kids so you could both do a new blog. "-)

Part of the joy of having so many kids is how well they play together isn't it? It's like always having a friend over, I love it!

Don't dare post the pics of you. I might have to delete you from my friend's list if you embarrass me :)

That was cute...all of those hair styles! The SAD thing is that those kind of hair styles on GUYS are VERY COMMON HERE IN COLOMBIA!! UNREAL!

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. The brownies sound good.

Bless your heart...I knew you had lost 2 babies, but didn't realize you had lost another one. I did hear the SAD news about your last loss. I cannot imagine. I tried to pray for y'all during that VERY DIFFICULT TIME! Heaven is surely RICHER for y'all! That is sweet that God catches all of the tears cried by those who have lost a little one. I tell you, just going to the funeral of that 2 month old baby...about made me go crazy. Of course, it was VERY EMOTIONAL...more than we are used to...so that didn't help things. I'm soo glad that God is helping the mother, Diana.

Have a great weekend in Jesus,
Love, Heather =)
